The IronPigs were held to just three hits. They scored the game’s first run on Mitch Walding’s RBI single in the first inning. Their last scoring opportunity was Matt McBride’s lead off double in the second inning. After a double play ground ball ended their fourth inning, the final 15 IronPigs’ batters were retired in order.

Wow can’t wait for The GCL both teams. Some please test Irvin in AAA please. He’s walking though AAA like it was HS baseball.
Can’t wait for daily Bohm reports .
rusney castillo had the homer for Pawtucket off Irvin, btw
Romus is this the real Tim?
Who would have thought that Howard would be the weak link in Lwood rotation?
Great to see the short season teams get started. Wsport has a terrific rotation on paper. Let’s hope they perform well.
Wait is it spelled like Tim spelled it proform or perform??
My favorite catcher in the organization, Rafael Marchan, had a nice opener. 2 knocks and a stolen base. Like Whitey Ashburn used to say, he must have good speed for a catcher. Keep an eye on him. I predict he will be in our top 25 (if not higher) prospects in the off season.
8mark….when will you switch over to Abrahan Gutierrez?
Romus I wonder what Middelton is thinking now about his hires for GM,and Manager
looking forward to watching the crosscutters tonight!
Very very early in his career, and only two games, but 17-year old DR RHP Israel Alfonso Puello could be another gem down the road.
He was signed for a little less than $500K last year and so far mosy of his metrics are plus in the DSL, but again, SSS.
Romus wonder how much velo he has. Seems like he gets it up there quick
I will have to find that out.
