The Clearwater Threshers (37-36) beat Daytona, 4-3 in eleven innings. Adonis Medina was lifted after four innings plus 3 batters and 87 pitches. He was charged with 3 runs on 5 hits and 2 walks while striking out eight. Jake Hernandez (2.97) was brought in and allowed one of two inherited runners to score, but struck out 3 in the inning. He want on to pitch two innings and striking out four. Grant Dyer (1.50) pitched 2 scoreless, striking out two. Kyle Dohy (1-0, 0.00) struck out 3 in two innings while getting the win.
