The Clearwater Threshers (38-38) lost to St. Lucie, 5-3.  The Mets built a 5-0 lead off Mauricio Llovera.  The Threshers RHP looked like he had good stuff, but he gave up 5 runs on 7 hits.  He walked none and struck out six.  The first 3 runs scored on the 2 HRs he gave up.  Blake Quinn (6.19) continued his shaky June with one inning plus 2 walks to two batters leading off the next inning.  Aaron Brown (4.91) was effective again, stranding the 2 runners and striking out 2 in his two innings.  Grant Dyer (1.29) pitched a clean ninth.
