Logan O’Hoppe was selected as the organization’s #16 prospect.  He received 31 of the 167 votes cast (19%).  Enyel De Los Santos finished second with 25 votes (15%). It’s been a while since I posted about any of our young prospects.  I would like to complete this series before I begin going to the Complex every day.  These articles have been about players I have actually seen.  So, they have been mostly about players at the GCL level – prep school draft picks, college draft picks, first-timers from the DSL, extended spring training guys before they went to Williamsport, and some young guys who repeated the GCL.  There are going to be some extremely small sample sizes. Friday, the Phillies came to terms with four more of their arbitration players.  Those with whom they avoided arbitration were  Vince Velasquez, Jose Alvarez, Zach Eflin, and Adam Morgan.  They had come to an agreement with Andrew Knapp back in December. In the closest vote so far, JoJo Romero was selected as the organization’s #11 prospect.  He edged Simon Muzziotti by one vote.  I left this vote open an extra day because it was very close, and it got closer.  The top five in the poll was rounded out by Rafael Marchan (18 votes), Damon Jones (16), and Kevin Gowdy (10).
