15 thoughts on “Threshers Recap – 7/13/2019

  1. Nick William continues to hit…..good for his value.
In 25 games so far…6 HRs and slashing 366/.430/.656

  2. Spencer Howard starts for Clearwater today. Sounds like it may be his last A+ start. He may be off to AA (Reading) this week. Mr Howard can confirm/deny this if he’s around and has heard anything.

  3. I saw Austin listi playing 3rd base the other night.
Is that doable at big league level? I’d love to see him get a shot this year as we prepare for 2020 but don’t know where he gets atbats

  4. Spencer dishing it up today….5 innings, 7 ks and no hits.
Just shy of a 70 pitch count
Assume Marty Malloy will let him stay in as long as the Frogs are hit less.

    1. He gone.
There is no reason for Spencer Howard to throw another pitch for Clearwater. He’ll be pitching for Reading later this week !!!

        1. Give the guys moving up to AAA some time to get used to the new ball (juiced w/lower stitches). It’s the same ball they’re using this year in MLB.
Even Aaron Nola took half the season to get accustomed to it.
