Sorry for my brevity (and no pic) here, but I messed up my hand and am reduced from hunt-and-peck to just peck. You have selected Tom Windle as the #9 prospect. Windle amassed 22.47% of the 316 votes cast and edged Yoel Mecias by 13 votes.

The current prospect ranking is –

  1. J.P. Crawford
  2. Aaron Nola
  3. Maikel Franco
  4. Roman Quinn
  5. Zach Eflin
  6. Ben Lively
  7. Jesse Biddle
  8. Kelly Dugan
  9. Tom Windle

I was happy to see Jesus Alastre and Percy Garner receive the Other votes. I will add them to a later poll. No additions to poll #10. Continue reading Reader Top 30 #10

Over 440 votes were cast on where to place Ben Lively among the top prospects. Lively will be placed 6th between Zach Eflin and Jesse Biddle. The bulk of the voting was dispersed as follows –

  • Nah, #8 is where he belongs.                                110     25%
  • Are you kidding? How did he get voted #8?      40       9%

Of the remaining votes, 8 were cast to pace him as the #1 prospect in the organization.

The current prospect ranking is – Continue reading Reader Top 30 #9

Okay, so newcomer Ben Lively joins the organization during the vote for #7, receives 5 write-in votes, and wins the first poll in which he is entered.  Lively received 40% of the vote for #8, besting Yoel Mecias 119 votes to 41 votes.  Just so we get him placed in the right spot, here’s a poll to make a correction, if necessary. Kelly Dugan is the #7 prospect in the organization.  As expected, votes were scattered among many players.  Dugan received only 78 of the 360 votes cast (21.67%).  Yoel Mecias finished second with 41 votes (11.39%).  Twenty-six players received votes.  Ten received 12 or more.  Ben Lively who joined the organization during this poll received 5 write-in votes.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see his total rise dramatically this poll.  Should stay interesting.

Andrew Anderson, Cody Forsythe, Tommy Joseph, and Ben Lively  have been added to poll #8. Continue reading Reader Top 30 #8

Position #6 goes to Jesse Biddle.  Once again, the victory is by plurality (44%) not a majority .  Twenty-three players received votes with 7 players other than Biddle (143 votes) receiving double-digit votes.

Willians Astudillo, Manuel Chavez, Rhys Hoskins, Brandon Leibrandt, and Jose Pujols have been added to poll #7.
