I was back at the Complex after an absence of about four weeks.  It was good to see the kids play although the outcome was a disappointing loss.  It was good to speak with the players again, and some of their parents.

D.J. Stewart had been hit in the mouth with a pitched ball back on August 7th and required 40 stitches.  He returned to the starting line up today.

Kevin Gowdy has been throwing off a mound for a while now and will continue his rehab at Instructs.

Luis Garcia had two text book at bats with the bases loaded.  He passed both times.
