Limited action Monday night. Very little action in the Threshers’ second game against Tampa where they were no-hit through the seven innings of regulation, and won in the shootout.
The Clearwater Threshers (59-52) swept Tampa, 4-3 and 1-0, both in eight innings.
Game One: Mauricio Llovera gave up 3 runs (2 ER) in the first inning on a fielding error, single, and 2 doubles. But he settled down and retired 17 batters in order through the completion of the sixth inning. He struck out seven. Addison Russ grabbed the win with two, no-run, no-hit innings.
