Lehigh Valley won.  Reading and Jersey Shore lost.  The DSL teams won.  And, Clearwater and the FCL Phillies had their games cancelled by COVID.

The Threshers were ravaged by COVID.  More than half of their active roster tested positive.  Fourteen players were added to the IL.  Sixteen players were reassigned from the FCL (10), activated from the IL (1), activated draft picks (3), and activated NDFAs (2).  That leaves 24 draftees and NDFAs unassigned.  Not every player listed in a transaction has tested positive for COVID. Only two games were played on Sunday.  Reading lost and Jersey Shore won.  Lehigh Valley’s game was postponed by their hosts in deference to Daniel Brito’s medical situation.  Clearwater was postponed due to COVID-19.  The FSC and DSL do not play on Sundays. Lehigh Valley suffered the loss of Daniel Brito for an unknown period of time.  He was taken from the field due to a medical emergency during the first inning of the first game of a doubleheader.  The game was suspended and the second game was postponed.

In other games, Reading lost as Jhailyn Ortiz was promoted to the Fightin’s.  Jersey Shore won.  Clearwater’s COVID-19 closure was extended to Tuesday, at the very least.  The FCL Phillies had no game scheduled and may be affected by the extended closure of the Complex.  DSL Phillies Red beat Dsl Phillies White. The top teams went 0-4.  Clearwater also almost lost two players in a deadline deal.  Still might.  Abel didn’t pitch last night on his turn.  Lozano did.  He’s either two before or two after Abel.  I’ve no idea when he pitches again.  Hope it’s not Wednesday.
