Cole Irvin, Mark Laird, Damek Tomscha, and Jose Pujols provided the pitching, offense, power, and defense that led to Clearwater’s victory.
Daniel Brito and Cord Sandberg powered Lakewood to a blow out victory.
Ricardo Pinto allowed one unearned run in seven innings, but Lehigh Valley was two-hit in a loss to Scranton.
Tyler Viza and the Reading bullpen held Richmond to one earned run in a victory.
Clearwater split two games with Palm Beach behind two fine pitching performances by Jose Taveras and Franklin Kilome.
Lakewood lost to Greensboro behind a solid outing by Sixto Sanchez.
Our starting pitchers held opponents to zero or one earned run in every game last night.
With a possible opening in the Phillies rotation, Jake Thompson tossed another clunker for Lehigh Valley.
Alexis Rivero blew the save and took the loss for Reading.
Seranthony Dominguez sparkled for Clearwater.
And, JoJo Romero pitched well before Lakewood’s bullpen imploded.
Zach Eflin returned to the mound for Lehigh Valley.
Brandon Leibrandt pitched well in his start for Reading.
Drew Stankiewicz figured in all four of Clearwater’s runs.
And, Lakewood lost in 15 innings.
