    1. Morales’ year started off promising and has quickly went downhill. He needs to enter ST ready to show control improvements and ready to take a reliever job.

      1. Morales’ stats show he allows very few hits (only 18 in 36 innings) with a high K rate(59). But his control is the only thing likely preventing him from getting recalled to the show. He walks nearly a batter an inning (32) with 2 HBP and a whopping 8 wild pitches. He really looks like a pitcher who could excel in the back end of a bullpen.

        1. Bob this is not a perfect comp, but I remember a few years ago Kyle Dohy started gassing hitters in AA and a bunch of us got a little excited about him, he just had major control issues that we assumed hed figure out. He was not far from a call up. Long story short, he never figured out those issues and was released. I think Morales has a ton more talent than Dohy overall, but in the end of the day, he has to not walk guys or hes never going to be an effective MLB pitcher. But yes, if he can work on that, he can be Seranthony level dominant. The range of outcomes is quite wide.
