  1. I you feel better real soon . Wow Phillies sign a Cuban player. Now we need about 5 international reliever ‘ s . At very least the catcher’s are hitting.

  2. Osmel Aguila was in the DR last yr he did work out for Cleveland last month. He has a very good obs and ops.

  3. Feel better soon.

And I hope this Aguila signing works out better than MAG did…

  4. BANG!!!!! There.. I shot off the starting gun. I don’t think the Phillies teams, top to bottom, heard it the first time. Our teams are stuck in the starting gate.

  5. At the current rate, Mujica, Bailey, and Russell could all be out of work soon.
It was nice to see what a win looks like. Thanks Reading! Let’s go you other teams.
PS – congrats to Nova Nation on a great parade

  6. VERY encouraged about our starting pitching at all levels. Kids in minors are still getting stretched out.

Alfaro 4 hits. JP 2 hits and a SB. Nothing like a win to lift the gloom here in Philly.

  7. Morgan may be the 1st SP called up. He pitched very well. Great to see Alfaro start strong. Why the negative comment on Bailey? I think he gets called up sooner than later.

    1. Agree on Bailey, he just threw a nice inning in AAA. Russell and Mujica- have been awful all along

  8. So far I’ve seen both LV games, 1 Lakewood game and 1 1/2 Reading games. Morgan pitched well, the HR he gave up was going foul but the wind seemed to push it over just enough as it was barely fair. I missed the 1st inning of Thompson’s game where they said he struggled but he looked good for the rest of the game. Severino gonzalez looked good against the 4 batters he faced. Gilbert did a good job as did Lively although I wonder how much the cold has impacted these games.

deivi grullon just missed hitting a HR last night.

  9. I imagine Aguila is in extended spring training. I see Kendrick is playing for Angles AAA and the Padres released D’Arby Myers.

  10. lot of pitches thrown for Pivetta in the 1st, was a little wild although I turned it on a few minutes into the start.

  11. I see Vince broke out last year, pitched 33 innings in AA and then went up to the Astros. So he has only pitched 33 innings in AA and none in AAA and he may be our best pitcher.

    1. Vince looked amazing. Power fastball, tight curve, improving changeup. He has the makings of a #2 pitcher. He was great tonight in less than ideal conditions.

      1. The Astros ‘done messed-up’ by giving the Phillies Velasquez for Ken Giles. I thought it at the time of the trade and still don’t know why they didn’t just make Velasquez their closer. Velasquez has best arm in the organization.
