Heavy rains throughout central Florida forced the cancellation of games yesterday. Today, Groups 1 and 2 were on the rode in Bradenton. Groups 3 and 4 played at the Complex. Group 3 usually plays on Ashburn Field, but the 1-3 inches of rain that fell in the Tampa Bay area must have rendered the field too water-logged for a game. Group 3 was moved to Roberts Field.
Group 4 played on Schmidt Field. Ranfi Casimiro was the starter. I checked the line up card and saw that Cozens was slated to start in center, again.
Ethan Stewart was the starter for group 3. I had to leave early to pick up family at the airport, I chose to watch Stewart. The wind on Roberts was strong, blowing from the left field corner to the right field corner.
The line up card isn’t accessible on Roberts. The starters were as follows:
- 6 Crawford
- 8 Tocci
- 5 Green
- 3 Charles
- 9 Hiciano
- 7 Greene
- 2 Lino
- 4 Serna
- DH Serritella

At this point I had to leave. Group 3 was leading 4-1.
Stewart’s line was 4 IP, 0 R, 4 H, 1 K, 0 BB, 3/5 GB/FB.
How has Mark Meadors pitched this spring? Noticed he was in group 4 but haven’t seen his name in any of the blogs.

I watched the Group 4 game and saw some good pitching out of Casimiro, Arteaga and Joaquin. Casimiro gave up a 1 out triple in the 1st but stranded him, a 123 2nd, then a HBP and a single in the 3rd but still no runs. In the 4th I believe started to tire and went double, flyout, double ,K, single, W but only one run as Arteaga came in to get the 3rd out. He went 4 more innings giving up 4 hits but only one run on a HR in his last inning. Joaquin finished the game with 2 K’s a single and a popup.
Offensively Grullon had 2 doubles and a RBI single while Pullin, Hernandez, Pierce, and Sandberg each had 1 hit. Cozens went 0 for 3 with a K. There are some videos from today at https://www.youtube.com/user/TheGkita

From the description of the earlier innings, I’m guessing the Phillies HR was by Serritella. Correct?
