The Clearwater Threshers will have four representatives in this year’s All-Star game.
Infielder Fidel Hernandez, Outfielder Dominic Brown, Utility Player Tim Kennelly (who earned it as catcher) and starting pitcher Yohan Flande will represent the team in Ft. Myers.
Drabek was named an all-star as well, but will not be in attendance due to his recent promotion.
ok the pooping has to stop or im going to be ill.
Kennelly’s bandwagon is hopping tonight! Let’s hope he plays one inning each at C, LF, RF, 1B, 3B, and DH. Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oi Oi Oi!
i cant believe fidel hernandez and his .280 OBP and .600 OPS made it, thats pretty bad haha

They should demote Drabek so he can go to the AS game…
Seriously though…good stuff.
Fidel Hernandez looks iffy on an All-Star team, but remember this is a 12 team league and each roster draws from a mere six team division. Justin Jackson might have an argument, but three other teams are playing worse hitting shortstops than Hernandez. Daytona’s Starlin Castro is the only division SS with a decent batting record and he is on the roster as well.
