Lehigh Valley (43-32) Beat Durham, 4-1.  David Buchanan (4-4, 4.54) allowed a first inning run then went on to hold the Bulls to one run on 5 hits and a walk in 6.0 innings.  Edward Mujica (3.94) posted his 18th save.  J.P. Box Score Recap – 6/23/2016

Lehigh Valley (42-32) Lost to Norfolk, 6-0.  James Russell (2-3, 5.01) had a rough outing that culminated with a sixth inning grand slam by the Tides.  Phil Klein made his IronPigs’ debut in relief.  Mario Hollands (2.31) pitched a 1-2-3 eighth inning.  He went 1.2 innings and allowed a walk and a single on 21 pitches/15 strikes.  The IronPigs were limited to 4 base runners, 4 singles. Lehigh Valley (42-31) Beat Norfolk, 2-1.  Ben Lively allowed a first inning run on a solo home run then held the Tides to 2 more hits and a walk in 7.0 innings.  Colton Murray (1-1, 5.56) got the win.  Edward Mujica (4.06) got his 17th save.  J.P. Lehigh Valley (41-31) Beat Norfolk, 3-2.  Jake Thompson had another great start.  He gave up 2 runs in 8.0 innings.  Edubray Ramos (0.38) earned his third save.  Cedric Hunter (.312) went 3-3 with a double, walk, and RBI (27).  Darnell Sweeney drove in the go-ahead run in the fourth inning.  The IronPigs turned 5 double plays.  J.P Crawford was involved in all five and had 5 assists and 2 put outs just from the double plays. Lehigh Valley (40-31) Beat Norfolk, 5-4 in 10 innings.  Anthony Vasquez (6.10) went 6.0 innings in his second AAA start.  He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits and a walk. Luis Garcia (2.56) blew the save in the eighth.  Edward Mujica (4.20) struck out two while recording his 16th save.   Darin Ruf (.315) and Cameron Perkins (.314) had 3-hit games.  Ruf (80 and Darnell Sweeney hit home runs.  Ruf (31) had 2 RBI. Lehigh Valley (39-31) Lost to Buffalo, 5-3 in 10 innings.  David Buchanan gave up 3 runs on 9 hits in 7.2 innings.  Michael Mariot gave up a two-run HR in the tenth.  Darnell Sweaney had 3 hits.  Emmanuel Burriss (.286), J.P. Lehigh Valley (39-30) Split a double header with Buffalo, losing 3-1 and winning 10-4.

Game One: Lost 3-1.  Reinier Roibal (0-2, 6.65) gave up 2 runs in 3.2 innings.  Frank Herrmann faced 5 batters in 1.1 IP, struck out 3, and gave up a solo HR.  Taylor Featherston drove in the only run.  Nick Williams and David Lough had 2 hits each.  Cedric Hunter wore the golden sombrero with an 0-4 with 4 K of the IronPigs’ strike outs. Lehigh Valley (38-29) Beat Buffalo, 5-4 in 11 innings, their second consecutive walk off.   Ben Lively gave up 4 runs in 7.1 innings.  Luis Garcia (5-1, 2.51) got the win with a 2-strike out inning.  Brock Stassi (.264) hit his 4th HR and had 3 RBI (25).  Cedric Hunter (.308) went 3-5 with 2 doubles and an RBI (25). Lehigh Valley (37-29) Beat Gwinnett, 2-1 in 11 innings.  Jake Thompson pitched 8.0 solid innings, throwing 111 pitches (64 strikes).  The IronPigs had 10 hits, all singles.  Andrew Knapp, Cedric Hunter, and Emmanuel Burriss had 2 hits each.  Thompson had one RBI, Andrew Knapp had the game winner on his second hit. Box Score Recap – 6/15/2016

Lehigh Valley (36-29) Beat Gwinnett, 7-5.  The IronPigs raced out to a 7-1 lead, but starter Anthony Vasquez (8.31) couldn’t complete five innings in his first start since being called up from Reading.  Luis Garcia (4.1, 2.60) allowed 1 of 3 inherited runners and allowed 3 base runners in 1.2 innings, but was awarded the win.  Edubray Ramos (0.44) allowed 4 base runners and struck out 3 in 2.0 innings.  Edward Mujica (4.73) gave up a run on 3 hits in the ninth but got his 15 save.
