Our affiliates went 3 for 4 last night (got it right this time).  Clearwater dropped a dreary decision to Dunedin.  Lehigh Valley got solid pitching and a lot of offense while trouncing Syracuse.  Reading won for the first time in a while, beating Akron.  And, Jersey Shore two-hit Winston-Salem after one-hitting them in the series opener. Our affiliates went 3 for 4 last night.  Clearwater won in sudden-death overtime (bottom of the tenth) against their biggest rival, Dunedin.  Over the years, the Blue Jays have played the Marlins to the Threshers’ Phillies.  Lehigh Valley won behind some solid pitching.  Reading lost a close one to Akron.  And, Jersey Shore one-hit Winston-Salem. Just a terrible day for the affiliates.  Clearwater lost to Fort Myers.  Lehigh Valley was shut down by Scranton/Wilkes Barre.  Reading found a new, dreadful way to lose their 7th consecutive game.  Well, not that new.  I’m pretty sure they followed a script from the Phillies’ Atlanta series.  And, Jersey Shore dropped a close one to Wilmington.

Clearwater trounced the Mighty Mussels in a runaway victory.  Lehigh Valley held on for a win over the RailRiders.  Reading scored a handful of runs again but still lost their sixth game in a row.  They hope to avoid a 6-game, series sweep tomorrow.  And, Jersey Shore thumped the Wilmington Blue Rocks.

Back to one win for the affiliates.  Clearwater rallied twice to beat the Mighty Mussels and even their record.  Lehigh Valley lost another tough one to the RailRiders.  Reading scored a handful of runs but still managed to lose by a half-dozen.  And, Jersey Shore rallied in the eighth only to lose in ten.  But, the Phillies beat a Toronto team that swept Atlanta.  And, Vince pitched well.

Well, it was bound to happen.  All four of our affiliates lost last night.  Clearwater rallied only to be bested by a 4-run inning.  Lehigh Valley dropped a game to a hated rival.  Reading lost pretty big again.  And, Jersey Shore was shut out on two hits.

Our four affiliates went 1-3 last night.  Clearwater dropped a one-run game.  Lehigh Valley won a one-run game.  Reading suffered a blowout.  And, Jersey Shore dropped a one-run decision.

All four affiliates flipped venues and were on the road last night.  However, the outcome was the same, we won just one of the four contests.  Clearwater overcame an early deficit and won going away as one of their 2020 picks made his mark.  Lehigh Valley was shut out.  Reading fell behind early and couldn’t recover.  And, Jersey Shore blew an early lead, rallied to tie, and lost in overtime.

We won just one of four contests on Sunday.  Clearwater’s late rally fell short.  Lehigh Valley won a rain-shortened game.  Reading also rallied and fell short.  Jersey Shore got stomped.

It’s too early to tell, but these 6-game series seem to create some familiarity between the teams.  They are more likely to see all the pitchers twice with a 5-man rotation/piggyback.

We took 3 out of 4 last night.  Clearwater rallied for 4 runs to walk off against Lakeland.  Lehigh Valley used a balanced attack plus solid pitching to post a victory against Rochester.  Reading beat Erie and an old friend, pitcher Ricardo Pinto.  And, Jersey Shore withered under the relentless attack from Hudson Valley.
