  1. Maton needs to be back in Philly. Since this is minor league, I won’t discuss who he needs to replace 😂

    1. Yes love Maton he made that fantastic diving catch to save a game and hurt his shoulder. That team with him at 2B and Stott at SS looked really young and really competitive…

      1. I think we’re getting to the point where Maton has nothing left to prove at Lehigh. If the Phillies don’t want to pick up Segura’s option, letting Maton take 2B next season is the way to go. I would also be ok with Maton in a platoon with Yairo Munoz at 2B.

        1. This season or next for that combo? I haven’t been all that impressed with Munoz but then I haven’t seen much of him.

Segura started his rehab so I imagine in another game or two he’ll be activated from the IL

          1. DMAR….A’s and Cardinals had high hopes for Munoz as he went thru their systems……he put up average to above average metrics…but I think above the shoulders were their concerns. When he bolted out of the Cardinals’ spring training a few years ago, and told no one…well that was it for them with him.
As he gets older maybe there is more maturity.

          2. I’m talking about next season.

And I believe the earliest Segura could be activated is July 31.

  2. Lindow is quietly having a productive AA season at 23. He may never be more than a 4th or 5th starter but that has value.
