Open Discussion: Week of October 1st

The Phillies closed out the season with an 11-0 pasting of the hated New York Mets.  They posted a 4-2 record over the final week with series wins over the equally hated Washington National and the Mets.  The Phillies finished with a 66-96 record and a .407 PCT.  They posted a 71-91 record in 2016, but showed promise after the All Star break this year when the went 37-38 after the infusion of several of their young prospects – Nick Williams, Jorge Alfaro, Rhys Hoskins, and J.P.
