Here’s the open discussion thread for Phillies’ talk and other topics.

After a 5-2 week, the Phillies will go into the All Star break with a 42-48 record.  This has to be a shock for all but the most optimistic Phillies’ fans.  They swept the Braves at CBP, then split with the Rockies in Colorado.   Continue reading Open Discussion: Week of July 11th

Box Score Recap – 7/10/2016

Drew Anderson made his Clearwater debut a memorable one.  He threw the first four inning leg of a combined no-hitter against the St. Lucie Mets, the Florida State League’s top hitting team.  The Mets couldn’t stop Anderson, but the weather could.  After a 45-minute lightning delay, he was lifted in favor of Will Morris who pitched the second, four inning leg. The pitching change didn’t help St. Lucie as Morris continued to retire Mets’ batters. Victor Arano brought home the final leg of the combined no-hitter, nailing down the ninth.
