The poll for #46 is up next. I’ve added K.C. Serna as requested.
Miguel Nunez for me.

You and me are kinda locked in lately. Nunez. We’re the only 2 votes as of 4:30 on Friday.
I’d take him over Whitehead as both have similar workhorse-type bodies and past injury concerns, but Nunez is closer to the bigs, (though no surprise if they both wind up in the CLR logjam waiting on Reading to open up), Nunez seems to have had a bit of a breakthrough last year after he was shut down to fix his mechanics, and Nunez, while walking more guys, is not wild at all – his 2014 walk rate was under 9%. Not bad at all.

I like what you have to say; I didn’t know about the late season recovery

And can anybody give me a comp on this kid? And maybe a bite-sized scouting report? Thank you in advance.

voting again for walding, clearly the best available

Clearly now it has to be Whitehead.

I just don’t understand how people can vote for Whitehead over Alezones. Whitehead is 3.5 years older, pitched one level above. Vastly inferior K numbers, mixed bag on other stats. Alezones seemingly has a projectable arm.

Agree I voted Alezones too.

Grenny Cumana! I’ll probably be voting for him for a while.

I went with him too. Plays SS and it looks like he knows how to make contact – very few strikeouts. But I am not super passionate about him here, I’d be fine with a number of other guys.

I think that KC will be 1 of only 5 or 6 on the list that will see the Major Leagues.

Whitehead – 1st Yr back from TJ w/ 0-HR. Overall very productive stats
K’s are sexy, but Outs & Lo baserunner #’s are productive.

K’s produce outs.

They also result in low baserunners

If K’s are a good thing, Walding is the man //sandusky

No mas! I cry uncle, there is literally no one on this list who is anything more than a name in the boxscore to me, it’s like when you get to the bottom of your electoral ballot to the local judges and propositions that sound good on paper but then you get home and you realize you just voted to give a giant tax break to Malaysian casino operators. Oops! I saw David Whitehead pitch once last year and let me say: I’m not seeing it guys.

Remember that Whitehead was coming off an injury. He should be better this year. I haven’t voted for him based on his performance last year, but I think he will do better now.
