2015 Phillies Minor League Spring Training Schedule

I know some of you are planning to visit Clearwater during Spring Training.  Here is the schedule for the Phillies (and Yankees, Pirates, Blue Jays) minor league groups from Saturday, March 14th through Saturday, April 4th.  The schedule is accurate as of January 8th, but time and location changes are always possible.

I haven’t converted these to a Phillies specific worksheet, yet.  If you have problems viewing and printing these documents, e-mail prospectpoll@yahoo.com and I’ll forward you a copy when I’ve completed the conversion.

  1. last night, Amaro said the Phillies are still planning to sign a starting pitcher with ongoing dialogue with various free agent options. “We made some strides with the things that Ruben was able to do with the (trades),” Gillick said. “We’re not where we want to be yet. We’re headed in the right way.”

….so will spring training see James Shields as a Phillie!

  2. Thanks Jim for all you do for us stuck up here in the COLD North- sadly, looks like the games will be starting just after my short trip to Fla!

  3. Thanks Jim, it looks like the games are starting a little later this year and my weekend there will be before the games start. Its okay though, those early Camp Days are fun too plus they’ll probably play an intrasquad game or two.

  4. Does anyone have any idea what the event on March 15 is–“Prospect Series: A Phillies vs. Canadian National Team”? I guess it’s pretty self explanatory, come to think of it, but it seems like a cool thing to see potentially and something I can’t recall happening in past years.

    1. Actually, after a google search it seems like I asked you this same question last year Jim. Did you end up going? Seems like it might be more fun to go to that than to drive all the way to Lakeland that day to see the Phillies play the Tigers.

      1. No, I didn’t go. I watched the 2 intrasquad games at the Carpenter Complex – group 1 vs. 2, and group 3 vs. 4. The Canadian team is a junior team, 18 and under. The Phillies “A” team was actually Group 5, the youngest players’ group in camp, Roly de Armas’ group. It included guys like Keys, Rios, Grullon, Lino, Posso, Canelo, Hernandez, Pullin, Biter, Pujols, and Sandberg – an 18 and over group. In fact only Grullon and Pujols were 18.
