Anthony Phillips, 24, SIgned as a free agent in 2014; .222/.341/.308 in 117 AB’s between Clearwater, Lakewood and Reading; 1HR 10RBI; 14%bb/20%k rates; 21 games at 3B with 1 error (.980); 7 games at SS without an error; 6 games at 2B without an error; 5 games in the OF without an error.  Phillips can play anywhere and will do it in a mediocre fashion.

Harold Martinez, 24, Phils 2nd round pick in 2011 draft; .238/.261/.333 in 147 AB’s; 2HR 16RBI; 2SB; 1%bb/24%k rates; .275 vsa. LHP; .224 vs. RHP; .289 with RISP; 33 games at 3B with 4 errors (.961); 2 games at 1B without an error; Martinez, who is now approaching 700 career AB’s for Clearwater has been on the DL for the last three weeks and was mediocre at best before getting injured.

Chris Serritella, 24, Phils 4th round pick in 2012 draft; .171/.231/.261 in 111 AB’s between Reading and CLearwater; 2HR 8RBI; 8%bb/32%k rates; 8 games at 1B with 1 error; Serritella was just awful for Reading and was sent down to Clearwater last week to try to get himself right.

Lakewood

Wilmer Oberto, 21, Signed as a free agent in 2010; .237/.302/.385 in 135AB’s; 3HR 12RBI; .259 vs. LHP; .231 vs. RHP; .235 with RISP; 9%bb/28%k rates; 32 games at 1B with 3 errors (.989); The line is a picture of mediocrity.

Mitch Walding, 21, Phils 5th round pick in 2011; .223/.290/.277 in 130 AB’s; 1HR 13RBI; 8%bb/32%k rates; .158 vs. LHP; .250 vs. RHP; .223 with RISP; Hitting .214 since May 1.  32 games at 3B with 6 errors (.931); Walding had a poor year last year in Lakewood , and his numbers this year almost exactly mirror 2013.

Willians Astudillo,22, SIgned as a free agent in 2009; .332/.357/.441 in 202 AB’s; 2HR 35RBI; 4%bb/4%k rates; .298 vs. LHP; .345 vs. RHP; .316 with RISP; .297 since May 1. 29 games at 1B with 5 errors (.982); 15 games catching with 3 errors (.972); Has thrown out 2/15 basestealers (13%);  A 4% strikeout rate…are you kidding me?  Astudillo continues to hit but again, his value comes as a catcher where he has been seeing more time.

    1. If he can handle the pivot, even with the knee surgery from last year, then it is a possibility.

    2. At 5’9″ 182 lbs, his body type likely does not lend itself to the athleticism needed to play middle infield in the majors
