And here’s a reminder for the eligibilty
For the purpose of this poll, consider “eligibility” to be less than 50 AB/25 games for a position player, and less than 25 IP/20 games as a pitcher.
So, here is where a few other guys stand
Mathieson: 37 IP. Not eligible
Zagurski: 25 G. Not eligible

Matt Spencer. 3rd round pick from last year. Power potential. Finished the year relatively strongly, putting up similar numbers to Mach, though his tools make him a better overall prospect. He will need to control the strike zone better if he is to succeed however. Other guys to consider at this point are Overholt, Mitchinson, and Miguel Matos. Overholt should be a major league reliever, though the jury is out on whether he will be good enough to be at least a setup guy. Mitchinson has lost lots of time due to injury, though his peripherals remain strong. He will need to stay healthy and succeed at Clearwater, not Lakewood. And finally Matos. This guy is seriously underrated and only a little behind Correa. 6-3 with a 3.34 ERA at GCL. 59.1 IP, 59 H, 22 BB, 50 K. He was only 19 last year and has an ideal projectible body at 6’4″, 178 lbs. He belongs in the top 30. He will probably have another short season at Williamsport next year but is definitely one to watch.

I’ll go with Mitchinson again to try to get the Aussie on here, though I do think it’s a waste if Dan Brauer isn’t somewhere on this list.

I know Schlitter shouldnt exactly be on the top 30 list but how can you leave a 95-98 MPH heater and someone who could possibly be on the phillies staff next year off of it???

Tuffy Gosewisch. The FO must think highly enough of his prospect skills to send him to the Fall League and he is hitting .276 there with a long ball to boot at last check. I like any catcher who goes by Tuffy. Can never have enough catching inventory as Gillick would say especially if one is included in a trade.

Will Savage is a sleeper that will continue to put up numbers and help to win championships. He has two in his first two years and has yet to give up a hit in the playoffs spanning 11 innings and striking out 14 with 3 wins and a save. Thats imprerssive and he is putting up numbers

Baseball America, despite disses by Main Man, has declared Mach to be the Phils’ draftee as the Best Pure Hitter in our draft…”…not flashy, but he makes consistent quality contact.”
So…accordingly, Main Man (MM) must figure it’s time to drop him from their rosters…like saying that he should (NOT no, no, never) be considered a “prospect.” Oh, well.
My nominee: Tyler Mach.

Art, you seriously need to get over yourself. If you find my opinions so appalling and out of line, start your own site and give us a link so we can read your work. You failed to understand the argument the first 10 times I outlined it for you, I’m not doing it an 11th time.

Does that mean that people need to agree with you here? Opinions are really just that…and when having disagreements, is it unconscionable to cite other “pundits'” take?
No comprende.

No, I’m just kind of tired of the mocking and deriding of my opinion. If you disagree, you need to state in a clear manner, supported by fact, why you disagree. Don’t call me “Main Man” or try to mock me. I’ve explained to you a number of times the difference between an 18 year old and a 22 year old in short season leagues. If you don’t buy that argument, that’s fine, but I don’t appreciate the insulting tone you’ve adopted.

The point that lots of people were trying to make with Mach should not be controversial. He is old for the league. To be a prospect he will need to move quickly (at least Clearwater next year) and continue to put up close to an 800 OPS. No one ever said he should be released.
Take a comparison to Matt Spencer for instance. Mach’s OPS was slightly better (803 vs 789) though that is really within the margin of chance. We also know than Spencer is one year younger and has one less year of college experience. Put it this way, if Spencer repeated Williamsport next year I would expect he would put up a very nice OPS, maybe 850-900. Would it mean he is a better prospect than if he went to Clearwater next year and put up a 750 OPS. No.
The other strike against Mach is defense. It is supposedly marginal for the middle infield. As a corner infielder or outfielder Mach’s 803 OPS is nothing special, even if he were the right age for the league. Mach is probably a top 40 prospect for the Phillies, not a top 30. This should not be that controversial.
