Clearwater lost late in their game.  Lehigh Valley returned a drubbing to Worcester.  Reading and Francisco Morales (0-6, 13.50) lost.  Might be time to rethink Morales.  And, Jersey Shore won a well-played game.

Clearwater outlasted Dunedin in a high-scoring affair.  Lehigh Valley gut drubbed in a one-sided affair.  Reading won, again.  Break up the Fightin’ Phils.  That’s seven of their last eight.  Former Phillie Brock Stassi drove in the go-ahead run with a pinch-hit.  And Jersey Shore wasted a great start and lost their 4th game in their last five.

With Jersey Shore’s doubleheader, there were five games last night.  Clearwater beat the division-leading Tarpons behind a bevy of stolen bases.  Lehigh Valley lost but Didi Gregorius and Adam Haseley combined for 5 hits in 7 at bats.  Reading blew a 2-run lead in the ninth inning.  And, Jersey Shore split their doubleheader.

More rain in Jersey City, so there were only three games last night, and only one victory.  Clearwater lost a marathon that included 21 hits, 7 errors, 18 walks, and 20 strikeouts.  Lehigh Valley was shut out on one hit.  Didi made a rehab start.  Reading posted the only win in a game where they were able to take and maintain a lead against a persistent opponent.  And, Jersey Shore was suspended in the second inning with a lead.
