Phuture Phillies 2017 Reader Top 30 Poll for #15

Andrew Knapp was your selection as the #14 prospect in the Phillies’ organization.  Knapp received 77 of 284 votes (27%) to achieve a plurality victory over Jhailyn Ortiz and Adonis Medina who received 47 and 45 votes respectively for 17% and 16% of the vote.  One of my favorites Bailey Falter had a surprisingly strong showing (39 votes, 14%) for fourth place.   Continue reading Phuture Phillies 2017 Reader Top 30 Poll for #15

Phuture Phillies 2017 Reader Top 30 Poll for #14

Harold Arauz was your selection as the #13 prospect in the Phillies’ organization.  Arauz’ supporters showed up in force late in the evening to push Arauz from virtually no votes to 85 votes and a 24% plurality.   Andrew Knapp and Adonis Medina had a tight race all day before being eclipsed by Arauz.  They totaled 65 and 61 votes respectively for 18% and 17% of the vote.  Jhailyn Ortiz remained close all day and finished with 53 votes and 15%.  And I recall that Mark Appel was the next highest vote recipient with 25 votes and 7%. Phuture Phillies 2017 Reader Top 30 Poll for #13

Kevin Gowdy was your selection as the #12 prospect in the Phillies’ organization. Gowdy won a plurality decision receiving 117 of 315 votes (37%).   Andrew Knapp and Adonis Medina finished tied for second with 41 votes each (13%).  Jhailyn Ortiz finished close behind with 35 votes (11%). Open Discussion: Week of January 2nd

Happy New Year to the Phuture Phillies community!  We are now in the same calendar year of the next baseball season.  Pitchers and catchers report in 6 weeks.  The first full workout is only days afterward.  I can hear bat hitting ball.  Just one more milestone for me, Phantasy Week.  I don’t participate.  But I go watch for a baseball fix to hold me over for the final three weeks of the off season.  Here’s the open discussion for Phillies’ talk and other topics.
