Today was Photo Day. All major league spring training participants reported early (around 6:00 AM, I heard) for their array of team and individual photos. However, this did not upset the training schedule. Players were on the fields before their 11:00 AM exercises commenced. The Phillies’ first 2019 full squad workout commenced this morning. The beginning was more subdued that any I’ve seen in the past. At 11:00 AM, the pitchers exited the Spectrum Field club house and crossed Ashburn Field on their way to right Field on Carlton Field. Ben Pelletier has been selected the #30 prospect in the Phillies’ organization.
Pelletier received 44 of the 184 votes cast (23.91%). Kyle Dohy received 25 votes (13.59%). Jose Pujols received 24 votes (13.04%). Connor Seabold received 16 votes (8.70%). Duran received 49 of the 213 votes cast (23.00%). Ben Pelletier received 30 votes (14.08%). Kyle Dohy received 25 votes (11.74%). Jose Pujols received 21 votes (9.86%).
