With a week left in the season for four of our teams, Lehigh Valley lost.  Reading was cancelled.  Jersey Shore won.  Clearwater lost.  And, the FCL and DSL do not play on Sundays.

Lehigh Valley (50-62) lost to Worcester, 3-1.  David Paulino pitched five innings and gave up one run on 2 hits and 2 walks.  He struck out six.  Braeden Ogle pitched 1.1 scoreless innings and gave up one hit.  Brady Lail pitched 0.2 clean innings.  Jake Hernandez pitched 0.2 innings and gave up 2 runs on 2 hits, one a 2-run HR.  Mark Appel got the final out on a strikeout.  

The IronPigs scored their only run in the fifth inning on a wild pitch.  They collected just 3 hits.  Charlie Tilson went 2-4 with a double.  Darick Hall went 1-4 with a double.  Adam Haseley went 0-3 with a walk.  Luke Williams went 0-3 with a walk.  Nick Maton went 0-3 with a HBP.  Cornelius Randolph went 0-2 with a walk.

Reading (44-64) cancelled, COVID-19.

Jersey Shore (53-59) beat Greensboro, 8-4.  Jhordany Mezquita pitched five innings and gave up 4 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks.  He struck out five.  Aidan Anderson pitched two scoreless innings allowing a hit and a walk.  Jonathan Hughes pitched one scoreless inning allowing 2 walks.  Gabriel Yanez pitched a clean inning striking out two.

The BlueClaws scored 5 runs in the third inning on RBI singles by DJ Stewart and Herbert Iser and a 3-run HR by Ben Pelletier.  They tacked on 3 more runs in the sixth on RBI double by Jose Tortolero, a wild pitch, and a sac fly by McCarthy Tatum.  Johan Rojas went 1-4 with a walk and SB.  Luis Garcia went 0-2 with 3 walks.  Nicolas Torres went 3-4.  Jose Tortolero went 2-4 with a double and RBI.

Clearwater (49-61) lost to Bradenton, 4-0.  Cristian Hernandez pitched five innings and gave up one run on 3 hits and 2 walks.  He struck out three.  Christian McGowan pitched a scoreless, one-hit inning striking out one.  Gunner Mayer pitched 1.1 innings and gave up a run on 2 hits and a walk.  Konnor Ash stranded an inherited runner and pitched 0.2 clean innings.  Jason Ruffcorn pitched the ninth and gave up 2 runs on 4 hits.

The Threshers managed just 3 hits.  Logan Cerny went 1-3 with a walk.  Casey Martin went 0-4.  Kendall Simmons was scratched before the game started.  Jamari Baylor went 1-4.  Freylin Minyety went 0-3 with a walk.

FCL Phillies (23-12) no games scheduled on Sunday.
