Kyle Young was selected as the organization’s #25 prospect. He received 62 of the 164 votes cast. Starlyn Castillo finished second, Connor Brogdon, Christopher Sanchez, Cole Irvin, Jhailyn Ortiz, Josh Stephen, and Andrew Schultz rounded out the vote.
With Young’s selection, Addison Russ will be added to the poll. Additions are determined by support in earlier polls. The next 3 guys to be added are Eastman, Parkinson, and Falter. Feel free to make suggestions in the comments section.
So far, I’ve only received a couple of requests to add Baylor, Santos, and Aparicio. I’m going to need an overwhelming response to add any new names to the poll.
Reminder: I am going to run several polls past thirty. Let’s assume that they are so that I have prospects on hand to add to the top thirty as other prospects graduate to the Phillies, lose prospect status, are traded to another organization, or for some other reason are dropped from the top thirty.
This poll has all the ear marks of an “f and f” vote and will likely be dealt with later.
I will continue to search for a method to conduct polling that reflects the feelings of the Phuture Phillies community. I went back and looked at how James started the Readers’ Poll and have a few ideas. I’ll bounce them off you at a later date.
Polling will continue with the shorter ballot. Results will remain hidden.

For me its Vierling and Leftwich as the only 2 appearing that I probably wouldn’t have in my top 30. Vierling maybe around 30 I could buy. A few others you might quibble about being too high or too low but all in all its really not that bad.
Brogdon gets my vote again. He’s been getting my vote since about 19.
I understand and acknowledge your statement. For me, though. it’s that this is a Readers’ Poll. Six maybe seven polls have been influenced by voters who aren’t necessarily readers. This is supposed to be a readers poll, not a place for non-readers to prop up a friend or family member.
Oh believe me I don’t disagree with you and this is your show so I’ll be on board with whatever you decide.
100% agree with Jim.
While I admire the effort and collaboration that goes into ballot stuffing (or supporting a certain prospect), it does take away from the integrity of the Phuture Phillies top 30 poll. That’s just my opinion. I’m not trying to disrespect any prospect, their family, or their friends.
BTW … I voted for Starlyn Castillo. I’m also suggesting Gunner Mayer and Brett Schulze be added to the ballot before the voting ends.
I vote to have Baylor added. Went Stephen here.
Castillo, Ortiz and Brogdon are in my top 20. Seems most readers voting have lost hope for Ortiz. I get that Castillo is far away still, and Brogdon is “just a reliever”, but hey…if they can contribute as major leaguers, I don’t see why we would downgrade them as prospects, especially in a system that isn’t exactly flush with talent.
