    1. Viza is playing out of his mind but I’d argue the Phillies knew what they had 2 years ago. They let a 19 y/o throw 24 starts in A ball and lose 17 of them. This kid must have a devil may care attitude. Put me in coach. I’m ready to pitch.. today. Denton Keys was the flyer I thought they took in that 2013 draft but Viza was the guy in the 32nd round. Keys is gone and Viza lives on.

      1. An underestimated tool Make-Up that is. We hear it a lot but I wonder how much thought we give it. I wonder how many kids have the talent to make it but never do because self doubt gets the best of them.

      2. I thought someone else was on him saying this before the year started. Oh I remember it was me.

    2. Sam,

Clever, but I think his name is a long i, as in vEYEza.

Of course, he can always change it for marketing purposes, kinda like Tony Dorset became DorSET and Joe Theisman, (pronounced Theezman) was changed to rhyme with Heisman.

  1. Who’s going have more stolen bases Kingery , Quinn, Cozens Quinn has to stay healthy. Grullon been on the D L for a contusion of the shin for a little while now. Nick Willams should start hitting for power now. Hoskins 5 hrs now great news not all the way there the will for a better avg. Cozens and Martin are rbi machine’s Kingery keep it up. Viza now that’s improvement .

    1. Your question is pretty easy. Quinn will double the total of Kingery + Cozens together. All he has to do is get on base (and stay healthy). It’s nearly an automatic double when he gets a single. With Quinn you always have to footnote his potential with “if he stays healthy.”

    2. Tim,

I’m a big Hoskins fan, but I’d like to see this slow improvement in average and power not be accompanied by so many whiffs. Five in the past two games, including some big RBI opportunities.

Ditto JP, though I think maybe he just needs a rest, which he got Sunday.

      1. Rhys has played a lot of baseball in the last 12 months. It’s not a surprise to me he is off to a slow start.

    1. Shouldn’t he be sporting a catcher’s mitt? He sure doesn’t look like a middle infielder. I do like his bat, although I can’t see it.

    2. That isn’t Tobias. Its romus. Tobias is thinner. Romus look at all the people getting on the viza train. I need my romus credit for saying before the season watch this kid.

  2. Living in Maine and surrounded by arrogant Red Sox fans, it really pisses me off the lose to the Sea Dogs. Man, the BP blew the lead and my Sunday, as well, although tempered greatly by the Phitin’s
