  1. What is Randolph’s physical condition…since he left the field in a prior game being injured? What kind of injury did he have? Is he better enough to play?

    YOUTH WANTS TO KNOW….

    1. Today’s first game was a continuation of Monday’s suspended game in which Randolph was not in the line up. He was listed as an extra player. Randolph is in today’s regularly scheduled game as DH.

  2. Was at the Ironpigs game. Vasquez was solid. I wasn’t too impressed with Lino’s bat (granted, one game means absolutely nothing), I got to see for myself why he’s so good behind the plate. Despite going 0-4, his AB’s weren’t terrible – he made good contact. Unfortunately, one was a grounder to first, while the other was a fly ball to the Railriders RF.

Altherr really needs to be called up – unless there’s some trade talk we don’t know about with the current Philly OF, he should be up there already.

  3. Looks like reading is going thru a bit of a slump batting / pitching
Elflin – I thought he was closer
    to ML ready- guess not

    1. Philly.com reported Eflin had a problem with his pitching hand. I don’t know if it was a cut or a blister or something else.

  4. Wow, little bit surprised/disappointed Eflin can’t get it ironed out. Hopefully he finds the issues and gets his adjustments. This is where a top tier roving pitching coordinator and player development staff could step in and tinker.

  5. Hate to say it, but Altheer’s plate discipline in AAA is right back to his 2014 levels in AA.
