Clearwater (21-18) lost to the Jupiter Hammerheads, 6-0.
Oswald Medina (3.90) gave up 4unearned runs after a fielding error by Lee Hao Yu. He served up 3 pitches in the heart of the strike zone that led to base hits and all 4 runs. A pitcher has got to suck it up and make pitches after a bad break.
Simmons, Yonamine, Baylor, and Brito all went 1-3 at the bottom of the order. Team struck out 11 times and drew zero walks.
Lehigh Valley (23-20) lost to the Worcester Red Sox, 13-2.
Francisco Morales (0.00) had a perfect inning striking out two.
Darick Hall (.276) went 1-3 with an RBI.
Reading (17-23) lost to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, 4-3 in ten innings.
Ethan Lindow made his first start at Double-A this season and pitched five innings allowing 2 runs on 4 hits with no walks and 3 strikeouts.
Mickey Moniak went 2-5 in a rehab start in CF. Logan O’Hoppe went 2-5 with a double.
Jersey Shore (13-25) lost to the Greenville Drive, 9-1.
Kyle Glosgoski made his first start of the season at High-A and tossed three shutout innings allowing 4 hits and a walk.
Johan Rojas (.190) and Ethan Wilson each went 0-4.
