The Phillies Triple-A affiliate remains in Allentown but will play in the new, 20-team Triple-A East League. The new league is comprised of three divisions. The IronPigs are in the Northeast Division with the Buffalo Bisons (Blue Jays), Rochester Red Wings (Nationals), Scranton Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Yankees), Syracuse Mets (Mets), and Worcester Red Sox (Red Sox).
The Triple-A Northeast League, along with all triple-A leagues, will be testing the new, slightly larger bases with a less-slippery surface.

Looking through this roster, a name popped up that should be followed during the season: Josh Stephen. His age is good (23), and had a decent year at AA (.826 OPS) when he bypassed Clearwater. With the Phillies having an opening in LF for 2022, he could put his name in the mix with a big year for Lehigh.
How did Randolph ascend to AAA, must be an age decision because I haven’t seen anything from that says he deserves a promotion.
He already spent 2 years at Reading and he’s a former 1st round pick. Like it or not, he’ll get his chances.
Yeah, you are right.
If he bombs in AAA he’s as good as gone IMO. Pretty sure this year is going to be a put up or shut up year.
Little short on outfielders at Lehigh Valley. Only 4 on the roster
Who knows….Odubel may be down there to help soon.
I presume Kingery will be on the AAA roster given he was optioned today to the Alt site
Oh, yeah, Kingery. I tuned into the game with the Pigs losing 5-4 with two men on base and two out in the 11th inning. Who should come to the plate? Scott Kingery, of course. And what did he do? He drove a ball deep into the outfield driving in both runners to win the game. WTG, Scot.
