(Sorry for the brevity in this and the other recaps.  I had an accident and my left index finger is bandaged and useless, except for hitting extra keys.  My normal hunt-and-peck has become hunt-peck, hunt-peck, hunt-peck, backspace, hunt-peck, hunt-peck, hunt-peck, mouse back to block and delete a single character, hunt-peck, repeat… I’m up to about 80% efficiency.  And now my grandkids are here for a two-week visit.)

3 thoughts on “Threshers Recap – 4/14/2019

  1. Congrats to Alex Bohm on his 1st pro homer. Let’s hope it’s the first of many. I feel bad for Listi, just get the first one. Haseley with two hits is a start for him.
    Pitching is inconsistent.

    1. Bohm is .379/.429/.586 during the past week. He appears to be settling in and showing off the hit tool that, combined with his power, made him a top pick. The scouting reports suggested he doesn’t sell out for power, so we’re not likely going to see him hitting moonshots every game, but it’s encouraging to see him driving the ball consistently.

  2. 2 home runs already for C Randolph. Team almost ruined him last year until they decided to let him be himself. Kaplerification of the system–thinking they can adapt any human into the “ideal” as if they are robots.
