Great to see Windle bounce back.

Windle struck out 5 of the last 6 hitters he faced, including the last 3 in the 7th – all swinging. Great stuff (no pun intended).

Apparently the LHV game was not a “bullpen” game; Aumont is officially back in the rotation.

We can only hope Aumont is a late bloomer ala Carlos Carrasco.

This is a seriously interesting development. I’d love to hear from anyone at the game – were the hitters letting Aumont off easy? It sounded like they were up there hacking which certainly benefits a pitcher with some control issues.

Nola, Eflin and Lively are looking very good so far. It is fun to keep track of them, and also good to see Windle have a great bounce back start.

Eflin just turned 21 this month
Nola turns 22 in early June
Lively just turned 23 in March
Windle just turned 23 in March
Biddle turned 23 in October
I think the first two are far more interesting as prospects at this point, but I will take any kind of good performances from these guys.

Anyone know what the gun read on Windle’s velo vs the Senators yesterday?

Hard enough to throw a 2 hitter he more known for his slider. He needs one more off speed pitch to be for the show.he was sitting at 92 in spring training.

“According to the TV broadcast and the inconsistent Harrisburg radar gun, Windle was 91-93 T94 with his fastball “
