Is Brian Mazone a legit prospect or a standard AAAA warm body?

Hes like 31, his prospect days are over. Would be interesting to see him get a start, and he almost did last year or the year before, but its not likely.

I like that Jaramillo’s defense is turning around and that Happ is continuing to pitch well. Its also nice to see Oscar Robles posting respectable numbers considering how much I and others lambasted his signing.

Happ…maybe Swindle or Kline could help out of the bullpen.

Bohn’s been called up to Philly to replace Werth (DL). Who get’s the call up from Reading: Moran, Golson, Slayden or Spidale? They only have 1 righty hitting OF on the Pigs. So I’m thinking Slayden’s not going.

My guess is Spidale or Moran who both have already played at the AAA level. While both Slayden and Golson are putting up very good numbers, I think the Phils will want them to remain with Reading for at least another month or so.
