Lehigh Valley rallied to beat Worcester, 7-4.  Darick Hall capped a 6-run ninth inning with a walk off grand slam.

Spencer Turnbull pitched two innings in a relief role giving up a 2-run HR.  Austin Hays had 0 hits but scored twice and played all 9 innings in a rehab role in left field.

Lehigh Valley (34-39, 68-78, seventh in their division) Beat Worcester, 7-4.  Alan Rangel started and pitched five innings.  He allowed one run on 3 hits.  He walked none and struck out six.  Spencer Turnbull made a rehab appearance and pitched two innings.  He allowed 2 runs on 2 hits and a walk.  He struck out 2 and gave up a 2-run HR.  Michael Mercado pitched one scoreless inning allowing a hit and striking out one.  Max Lazar pitched one inning and gave up one run on one hit and a walk.  He struck out one and won the game when the IronPigs walked off in the ninth.  

The IronPigs tied the game with a run in the sixth inning.  Austin Hays reached on a throwing error.  Carson Taylor drew a one-out walk.  Rafael Marchan drew a two-out walk.  Ryan McKenna walked to force in a run.  A new pitcher got the third out.  The IronPigs trailed 4-1 entering the ninth inning.  They started their 6-run rally after the first 2 batters were retired on ground balls.  Otto Kemp drew a walk and took second on defensive indifference.  Jim Haley reached on a throwing error as Kemp scored.  Hays drew a walk.  Taylor hit an RBI single scoring Haley with Scott Kingery coming in to run for him.  Buddy Kennedy walked to load the bases.  Darick Hall walked it off with a 418-foot grand slam in what is likely his last at bat in the organization.  He is the IronPigs all-time leader in HRs and RBIs.

Austin Hays made a rehab start in left field.  He went 0-4 with 2 runs scored, a walk, and 2 strike outs.  That’s 4 Ks in 2 games.  Activate him!
