  1. I always scratch my head whenever I open the box score and Crawford or Miller don’t play. Why are they not playing every day? I don’t really understand it. But I guess it isn’t a big deal.

  2. too funny that is the exact same thing that I thought when I opened the box scores last night.  I’ve noticed with both of them at tends to usually be either Friday or Saturday that they sit them. With Miller taking an Ofer The previous game the last thing you want is a seat on the bench the next night. I was a player back in the day and I remember you couldn’t wait to get back out there. My guess is they’re trying to give the guys on the bench some plain time, but I would prefer to see it at other positions.

  3. I was at the Blue Claws game. Boyd made one of the best catches I have ever seen. The ball was crushed over his head and he raced back to the wall, catching it over his head, facing the wall. It was Say Hey Kid worthy.

  4. Just want to send kudos to Dr.Jimmy/Mr.Jim.

Your writeups for the 4 minor league teams are fantastic.

    Appreciate it soooo much.

  5. It’s going to be interesting to see how the Phillies handle Gabriel Rincones Jr. He’s performing well at Reading and he’s likely to finish the season at Lehigh at this rate. He’s primarily corner OF/DH but Schwarber has 1 more year left on his deal and Castellanos has 2 more years. Will the Phillies take it easy with Rincones Jr or open a spot for him by trading away somebody?

If Rincones wants to force the issue, he could finish the season with 25+ HRs and .900+ OPS. That should open some eyes .

    1. was coming to ask the same.

also interested if Viars hit his groove or just hitting better because he’s older?
