We’ll restart the Readers’ Top Thirty with the vote for the #2 prospect.
Andrew Painter was your selection as the #1 prospect. He received 123 of 126 votes cast. Griff McGarry, Johan Rojas, and William Bergolla each received one vote.
Because of the limited number of votes allowed (the app calls them signals and limits us to 2500) I’ll be closing polls when a clear victor can be determined. I wish I had cut the first poll short before expending so many signals on a clear winner.
I have Abel #2. Painter is the top guy, and that has overshadowed Abel a bit, but I believe he is going to be another really good SP for us. I am interested to see if others here have dropped him down at all.

Matt, I went with Able as well at #2. I have not seen either but those of you who have are giving high marks for both. It seems both are well on their way.

if it is a viewers top 25, and there are 2500 possible signals, that is an average of 100 per poll. But, my memory is that the later polls are more likely to average 20 votes, so though early signal counts might exceed 100, perhaps the limited number of signals is not something to fret about

Last year, we had to finish polling in the comments section. So, let me “fret” about how the poll is conducted.

Went with Rojas….has all the ingredients to be an impact player.
Plus-plus speed, best CFer in the AFL, minor league career-less than 17% K-rate (+) and 7 %-BB rate (average)…swings hard with 50% GB rate, with his speed and no shifts to counter….will have a higher BABIP with plenty of SBs in this now MLB new atmosphere of larger bases and fewer pick-off attempts and the pitch-clock.

Also went with Abel. He and Painter are the only two prospect they have who both offer significant upside and are basically guaranteed to play in the majors and have some level of success.

I’m closing the poll after 84 votes. Mick Abel is the runaway leader with almost 80% of the votes cast.
The next poll will be up shortly.
