Phillies Affiliates’ Recap (5/8/2022)
There were a couple of wins and three losses yesterday. Lehigh Valley got whipped. Reading won with some nice pitching (for the most part). Jersey Shore split a doubleheader holding the opposition to 2 hits and 3 hits but getting one hit themselves in game one. Five games last night. Lehigh Valley did what the parent club couldn’t do and crushed the Mets. Reading dropped both ends of a doubleheader getting no-hit in the nightcap.
