Just had an e-mail hit my inbox stating Zagurski has been called up and will be in the bullpen on Friday. This leads to me to believe, if true, that Myers is headed to the DL. Stay tuned, nothing official yet, and it could just mean one of the guys who never sees the light of day (Hernandez, Yoel) could be waived.

Fastball is 90-91 with late life. Slider is a plus pitch, low 80’s, good tilt. Changeup is below average or it was the last time I read a scouting report on him.

Pat Gillick stated that Kane Davis, a pitcher for Ottawa is going to be called up. Can you tell us something about him?

Congrats Mike. Your mom is just shaking with pride and excitement. You’ve helped put Omaha back on the map. Well done.

Kane Davis is a non-prospect. I hadn’t seen he was getting called up.

Mike has in fact been called up and is on a plane to Atlanta and will join the team when they arrive from Miami. He should provide a much needed left handed arm that the Phils’ bullpen desperately needs right now. His stats this year are borderline outrageous. When your ERA and OPP AVG are both around 1, you’re doing something right. Good luck Mike!

Played with Zagurski in Spring training. He is dynamite on the mound and in the clubhouse, great kid.

Hernandez has done a good to decent job….Condrey should be waived.

So is Zagurski single?! I was always a Phillies fan but now I have an extra special reason to watch carefully!
