Jon Prosinski vs. Dunedin; April 26, 2014

Jon ProsinskI made his fifth start of the season when he faced the division leading Dunedin Blue Jays last night. It was easily his best effort of the season. His evening started with a gutty first ining where he needed 22 pitches to retire the Jays recording 2 walks and a 2 strike outs in the inning. He was leaving most of his early pitches wide of the strike zone. He threw only 9 strikes in the first inning. It appeared his pitch count might lead to a short outing.

Threshers vs. Matt Boyd; April 25, 2014

Harold Martinez swung the bat well making good contact on a couple of occasions and collected the team’s only real hit last night, a double to the right-center field gap. Jordan Guth threw 7 pitches to record the final 2 outs in relief.
