Box Score Recap 6-6-2012

Tyler Cloyd with another gem.  Hard to look at his stats on the whole and not see some potential.  However, his k/9 is down by around 1.5/9 over last year and his walks are up as well.  Didn’t look at BABIP, but his WHIP is a seemingly unrealistic 0.86 at AAA.  I’ll hold at “cautiously optimistic”. Pretty good night for starting pitchers overall.  Also, Dom Brown with 4 hits, including two HR, plus an outfield assist.  And someone on Twitter said he made a real nice catch in LF, which I cannot confirm.

Box Score Recap 5-31-2012

The Clearwater nine battled many a weary inning before finally threshing the Yankees of Tampa by the Bay, defending the honor of their fallen hero, Percival Merciful Garner.  Ok, that’s probably not his real middle name.  And he’s “fallen” ’cause he got knocked out of the game, not ’cause someone dropped him with a line drive or a sword or anything.  He’ll live to fight another day.  Anyway…BOX SCORES!!!
