Box Score Recap (9/20/24)

Lehigh Valley lost to Worcester.  Seth Johnson started and pitched three innings throwing 59 pitches.  Jake McKenna led off and went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles, a run scored, and a walk. 


Lehigh Valley (33-38, 67-77, seventh in their division, 2 games remaining) Lost to Worcester, 4-1.  Seth Johnson pitched three innings and gave up one run on 2 hits and 2 walks.  He struck out one and threw a wild pitch.  Andrew Schultz pitched 0.2 innings and gave up 2 runs on one hit and 4 walks.  He struck out one and gave up a 2-run HR before walking the bases loaded.  Nick Nelson came in and stranded 3 inherited runners.  He went on to pitch 2.1 scoreless innings allowing a hit and a walk.  He struck out three.  Tyler McKay pitched one inning and gave up a run on 2 hits and a walk.  He struck out one.  Michael Mercado pitched a scoreless inning walking one and striking out one.  Max Lazar pitched a scoreless inning allowing a hit and striking out one.  

The IronPigs tied the score in the third inning with their only run of the game.  Jack McKenna led off with a double.  He moved to third on a ground out and scored on an RBI single by Buddy Kennedy.
