As several of us had suggested, Anthony hit promoted to Reading. Good for him, very deserved.
What’s the deal with Orlando Gonzalez? He’s 21 and has really been good at several levels. He’s now at CWater and will likely get a playoff start. Might be a guy to follow.
Mendez continues to hit. After a slow start, he has really put things together.

I had not seen the Keaton Anthony news until I saw your post. Thanks for sharing. That is great for that young man. He can flat out rake. His bat will definitely play at the MLB level. And I am confident that his power will develop. Maybe never more than a 25 homer power tool. But with a high OB%. That’ll play kid.

I like Anthony’s peripherals…K-15%….BB-12%….he seems to know what he is doing at the plate. And agree he is big enough and strong enough to develop the power tool…..though his SLG is average , maybe a tick above, but he seems to get plenty of doubles ilo of the HRs.
Anthony, along with Hendry Mendez, obtained from the Brewers org, are , IMO, the two most under-rated players in the system…..both make frequent contact and do not give away any ABs…, a kudo to the scouting dept on obtaining these players.
