Lehigh Valley lost.  Reading won and Noah Skirrow gave them five strong innings, but the bullpen blew the save.  Gabriel Rincones homered.  Jersey Shore lost.  Clearwater won with a lineup stacked with this year’s draft picks.  Griffin Burkholder tripled and scored their first run, Dante Nori had a 2-run single, and Devin Saltiban hit his 14th HR.  Twelve of MLB’s Top Thirty prospects are on the Threshers, 6 of the top twelve.  The DSL Red won; DSL White lost. Lehigh Valley lost when their middle relief imploded.  Reading managed just 3 hits in a loss wasting a fine start by Eiberson Castillano.  Jersey Shore won easily.  Emaarion Boyd had 4 hits.  Clearwater lost a rain-shortened game.  Pedro Reyes pitched well.  The DSL teams were off.

There were 3 double headers on Saturday.  Lehigh Valley split theirs with Rafael Marchan hitting his 2nd HR.  Reading swept with a slam by Justin Crawford and 2 HRs by Gabriel Rincones.  Robinson Pina picked up his 12th win.  Jersey Shore split theirs with new guy Moises Chace picking up his first win with the BlueClaws.  Clearwater lost. Lehigh Valley managed to complete their first game (a loss) before their second game was postponed.  Reading’s game in Akron was postponed.  Jersey Shore’s game in Wilmington was postponed.  Clearwater 1-0 on a walk off in the ninth after recording the first two outs in the inning.  DSL Red lost; DSL White won. I keep track pf the organization rosters to the point of being anal about it.  Three files under Rosters and Stuff show the data I compile.  Here’s a breakdown of where the Phillies rosters are today, as I have them.  This is a fluid situation and could look different in a few days.

I guess the point of this exercise is that I have the Phillies with 15 openings on their stateside rosters today.  Sharing for those interested.
