LHV staff walked 11! Tough to win that way.
Rincones and Miller getting hits, a great sign for both. Does Castellano have major league potential?

Castellano will likely start next season at Lehigh. If he continues to pitch well, he’ll get an opportunity next season to showcase himself, similar to Tyler Phillips. And that’s all these non elite guys hope for, an opportunity.

I wonder if McGarry will ever show enough to get his opportunity ….next season may be his last chance in this org. In the spring of 2023 I thought he would be a no brainer at that time. But things unraveled for him last season.

When you’re walking 8.7 per game at Lehigh, it’s hard to get an opportunity. At this point, he needs a change of scenery.

His control didn’t get any better and he lost a ton of velocity (high 90s to low to mid-90s – difference-making velocity).
He’s a borderline non-prospect at this point. Sometimes guys regain velocity in the bp after a few years, but he’s pretty much an afterthought right now. A cautionary tale of what George Klassen might become (or might not!).
