Sunday’s games for the IronPigs (in Jacksonville) and the Threshers (at home) have been cancelled.
Lehigh Valley (20-12, 54-51) lost to Jacksonville, 6-5 in ten innings. Max Castillo pitched five innings and gave up 5 runs (3 ER) on 5 hits. He struck out 2 and gave up 2 HR. Jonah Dipoto pitched a scoreless inning allowing a hit, walking one, and striking out one. Michael Rucker pitched a scoreless inning allowing 2 hits and striking out two. Michael Mercado pitched two scoreless innings allowing 2 hits, walking one, and striking out two. Tyler McKay gave up the walk off unearned run retiring one batter, allowing a hit, walking one, and striking out one.
The IronPigs took the lead with 2 runs in the second inning on a 2-run double by Matt Kroon. They tied the game with 3 runs in the fourth on a 3-run HR (6) by Kroon.

Blaine Knight pitched one scoreless inning striking out one. Mavis Graves pitched 4.1 innings and allowed 2 runs (1 ER) on 5 hits and 3 walks. He struck out eight. Jake Eddington stranded 3 inherited runners and pitched one scoreless inning walking 2 and striking out two. Ethan Chenault stranded 2 inherited runners and pitched 1.2 scoreless innings striking out two.
The Threshers score 3 runs in the first inning before the game was halted on a solo HR (13) by Devin Saltiban and a 2-run HR (3) by Eduardo Tait. They scored an insurance run in the sixth on an RBI single by new guy Brady Day driving in new gut Carter Mathison.
Individually, the new guys went – John Spikerman went 1-4 with a run scored and a double; Carter Mathison went 2-4 with a run scored; Carson DeMartini went 2-4 with a stolen base; Brady Day went 1-4 with an RBI and a stolen base.
