How is Crawford’s CF defense? I’m assuming below Rojas… but wondering how close? Better than Marsh? Better than Pache? I’m hoping between Pache & Rojas as the general consensu

plus defender with elite speed, average arm, so probably a small notch below Rojas but his offensive upside is way above Rojas. I do not think Rojas will be blocking Crawford although it would be quite the fielding duo to pair those two out there if Rojas could find some offense

Having seen Crawford live I will say his speed allows him to cover tons of ground. He will need to get better at some of his reads though.
I see him as a plus defender and more than capable of being a long term CF.

Now that he’s in Clearwater are there any reports on Tait’s defense at C? Only negatives I’ve read about the guy were some questions about his defense but it’s difficult to know how valid those are for a 17-year-old.
