    1. CDL has a career minor league OPS of .730 and he was available in the rule 5 draft and nobody selected him. Those 2 things are more concerning than his current age (24). As a comparison, Brandon Marsh has a career minor league OPS of .817 and had an OPS of .832 at AAA as a 23 year old.

  1. If you want a physical comp for Nori, think mid-career Adam Eaton. Eaton didn’t have a long career, but at his peak, he was a force for the White Sox. And Nori, has a strong build, a short stroke and can FLY.

Check out this hit, run and slide (it’s a YouTube video down the page some). I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone slide that far away from second base and make it all the way to the bag.

Okay, now I get what I see in this kid. He’s not a skinny little kid with no ability to hit the ball hard.

    1. Adam Eaton is an interesting comp. He generated 18.4 WAR which isn’t great but it’s more than the average OFer if you can believe that.

Nori is already filled out so I’m expecting him to be a fast riser (if he continues hitting). It’ll be interesting to see how he develops.
