Lee Sang continues to hit well after his slow start. Segura has a really good arm and a chance to be legit. Lazar continues to get outs. Great to see Pan and Pipkin start their rehabs.

Good to see Caba being productive — getting walks, stealing bases — even if he’s in a little bit of a slump at the plate. Maybe the Phillies told him to stop hitting to lower his trade value (just kidding)

Glad to see Pipkin pitching again. I thought if he hadn’t been injured he might have had a chance to be at Lehigh this year and maybe if he did well a look at Philly.

Tait is a revelation. That kind of power from a 17-year-old (a catcher nonetheless) is remarkable. The fact that he’s doing it with a 17.3% K-rate is insane. Protect this kid at all costs.

Is carson taylor a future backup, or JAG???

He has catching experience but he hasn’t done that since he joined Reading, so we can assume that he won’t be a backup catcher. He’s been mainly 1B/DH so with his lack of positional flexibility, he’ll need to continue to rake in order to make the bigs. His likely position is DH with the Phillies so he’ll need to continue to hit at Lehigh. The likely scenario is that he’ll get traded for some lotto tickets (similar to Oliver Dunn) in the near future.
